This is an excellent Mexican restaurant in a great part of Detroit. Authentic and has great service. I have many friends who also love this place. Skip Mexican Town and get over to Armando's for goodness sakes.

A-maz-ing!!! I can't say how great our server, Gaby was. Our lucky day as she told us she is normally behind the bar. Great portion on the torta. My companions ordered burritos and enchiladas; each of them cleaned their plates. We also tried the carnitas taco. The only negative is that they don't have a carnitas dinner on the menu. We went on a very cold day but inside was warm and cozy. The entire restaurant was clean and well kept including the restrooms. We try to visit different places without repeats but Armando's will be on our must return list!!

Always a staple in Detroit's Mexican town. Fresh off the plane I needed to eat because I wasn't paying $15 for a sandwich at the airport. I didn't complicate things and went straight for my usual the wet burrito with beans & rice along with a couple of margaritas. After all these years the place hasn't changed and that's why they will always be A-1.

Me and my family love to visit at least quarterly. Armando's is our go to when we go to Southwest Detroit. They have the best hot salsa. I do both carry out and dine in. The best part about dining in is the complementary chips and salsas. They always make a point to put a spoon in the hot one!!

I like going to a neighborhood restaurant that has survived time. A restaurant where the locals go. There are several Mexican Restaurants in Corktown (Mexican town) in Detroit. This is not a fancy place however the food is tasty and authentic. We do carry out here. Only challenge, a carry out customer must exit the restaurant go outside and in back door to go into the restaurant. For a female alone not a great idea. There is Nada security. Normally with husband, but... The food will bring me back. You can order a Margherita to go

The best enchiladas I have ever had! Cute restaurant in MexicanTown in Detroit, we got there right before the rush, but either way it would've been worth the wait. We were seated immediately, I was torn between the tamales and enchiladas so I went with the waitress suggestion of enchiladas and so glad I did. The ground beef was seasoned to perfection and they use Muenster cheese on the enchiladas and it added the flavor. Highly recommend! I look forward to returning on my next visit to Detroit!

I came on a Thursday with my friends the chips and salsa was pretty good they offered a hot and a mild salsa. Thursdays drink special is bahama mama but we wanted margaritas which were very good and strong. The tacos seemed majority seafood and like on chicken and one beef option so if seafood tacos are not your thing I suggest something else on the menu. I ordered two fish tacos. They tasted different so I assumed they thought I ordered the fried tilapia taco and the beer battered fried fish taco. The fried tilapia taco was a bit tasteless to me. You tasted the crunch of the fish but not the flavor of the fish. Whereas the other tacos were fish you could taste all the fish in addition to the toppings; Good taco! 8.5/10 will come back for me drinks and food
